President Yang Visits Shanghai Art Collection Museum

On September 22nd, 2021, President of Shanghai Institute for International Strategic Studies (SIISS) Yang Jiemian and former Ambassador Kuang Weilin visited Shanghai Art Collection Museum. The Director of the Museum Hu Muqing gave his introduction to President Yang and Ambassador Kuang. They held a discussion on strengthening civil cultural communications between China and abroad.

Accompanied by Director Hu, President Yang and Ambassador Kuang also visited the 4th International Youth Art Popularization Exhibition. Shanghai Art Collection Museum is a member of International Council of Museums and Chinese Museums Association. Since its foundation, it has held the 1st – 11th International Traditional Art Exhibition, the 1st-9th International (Shanghai) Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Forum, the 1st-8th International (Shanghai) Cultural Tourism Promotion Conference, the 1st-6th International Children's Innovative Art Exhibition, the 1st-4th International Youth Art Science exhibition, as well as other joint exhibitions with countries like Egypt, Iran, Indonesia, Turkey, and Slovakia.
