President Yang Attends the Third Experts Online Meeting of 2021 Imperial Springs International Forum
On August 30th, 2021, President of Shanghai Institute for International Strategic Studies (SIISS) Yang Jiemian attended the Third Experts Online Meeting of 2021 Imperial Springs International Forum, and the topic of this meeting was Multilateralism 2.0: Global Cooperation in the Post-Pandemic Era. President Yang gave his keynote speech “Reflecting on and Redefining Multilateralism during and after the COVID-19 Pandemic” in Session II, Multilateralism and Global Emergencies.
Chau Chak Wing, President of Australia-China Friendship and Exchange Association and Danilo Türk, Former President of Slovenia and President of WLA-Club de Madrid attended the meeting, as well as giving their remarks. Participants also included He Yafei, Former Deputy Foreign Minister of China; Margaret Chan, Emeritus Director General of World Health Organization; Helen Clark, Former Prime Minister of New Zealand; Manuel Muñiz, Former Secretary of State of Spain.
